Dr. Nancy Reinhart
Dr. Nancy Reinhart grew up in a small Midwestern town in Illinois as the daughter of a baker. She attended undergraduate schools in Illinois, discovered a love for anatomy, and eventually pursued chiropractic as a profession at Life Chiropractic College (now Life University) in Marietta, Georgia. She graduate cum laude in 1984, began practicing in Austell, GA, moved to the Rossville area in 1987, and to Hixson in 1990, her present site.
She specializes in Gonstead-Diversified technique with adjunctive use of Cox Flexion-Distraction and Activator. If a person is very frail, very apprehensive or very young, she employs her famous “wiggle-stretch technique,” a no-popping approach, effectively meeting the needs of an entire spectrum of people needing help. She treats all ages, all types of hurting folk, and all needs appropriate for our scope of practice, removing segmental fixations, relieving pain, and allowing the body to return to good function. She engages in an additional 24 hours of continuing education every year, updating and enriching her knowledge on a continual basis.
About Chiropractic History
Chiropractic is a physically sound, scientifically provable means of restoring and maintaining the health of the human body. The foundation for all forms of hands-on treatment originate from the concepts underlying chiropractic care. As a profession, chiropractic is 119 years old. The history of its practices are 3000+ years old. Today, specific techniques have been developed and standardized
like Gonstead-Diversified, Activator, and Cox Flexion-Distraction.
